A stronger athlete is a faster athlete.
This Summer we'll work on gaining the strength necessary to improve our form, endurance and most importantly speed.
Each practice will combine strength and agility drills with running form drills--along with plenty of running fun!
Warm-up: Leg Swings/Arm Circles/200m-400m Jog
Agility: Cones/Ladder Course
Strength: Burpees/Squats/Push-ups/Bear Walk
Speed: "Get up and go" (Two ways!)
Main Set: 30m Timed Test x2; 60m Timed Test x2, w/1' rest + 3' Strength Circuit
Relay Practice/Relay Racing
400m Cool Down Lap (Jog/walk)
